Washington, United States, February 3: The host of The Roxane Gay Agenda podcast has pulled its show from Spotify after a surge in celebrity departures from the audio streaming platform in recent weeks, according to The Hollywood Reporter.The episode, which premiered in late January, is no longer available on Spotify but can still be streamed on Apple Podcasts or the Luminary app.India Arie, a musician and podcaster, announced last week that she would be pulling her podcast SongVersation from Spotify in protest of Joe Rogan's remarks on his show that it would be odd to call Black people black unless they were 100 percent African, from the deadliest place, where they are not wearing any clothes all day.In a message shared on her personal website, Brown confirmed that she would be suspending the release of any future episodes of Unlocking Us and Dare to Lead In protest of Rogans content, many musicians have also had their songs removed from Spotify recently.Among the celebrities on the list are Graham Nash, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell. Roxane Gay has joined Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, and other artists and podcasters in removing their content from Spotify, revealing Thursday that the author has pulled all episodes of The Roxane Gay Agenda podcast from the streaming service over their handling of misinformation.
